We are so excited. Our breeder just emailed us, letting us know that the puppies are here! None with full black masks, like we hoped, but I know, that is the last thing we should be looking at. All boys but one. We want a male, so that is good news. Now, to wait another few weeks before we go to visit them :(

I do have a question. On average, from what I have seen, it looks like brindles have a shinier coat than fawns, especially darker fawns. (like the fawns in this litter) Is this true? That brindle coats tend to be shinier?

Congrats to you! Having just gone thru the waiting myself I know how excited you are..As far as the brindles being shinier, well, take a look at Kash Man, that handsome guy has the shiniest coat I have ever seen in my life for a fawn..I know that both of my brindles have shorter tighter coats, hence more shine, where my 2 fawns(who were both rescues) had thicker and coarser coats, so not as shiny...Using fish oil will make the coat shine, plus it's got omega3, which is good for the immune system as well :)
