So we got Baz in September and thought that since Baz was short for Bazooka people wouldn't have a hard time reading it with a long "a" instead of a short "a" A lot of people read Baz and it would be said like Taz (from Looney Tunes) but we wanted people to read it Boz.  There's even a famous director who spells it Baz you know Baz Lurman who dircted Moulin Rouge? Well anyways... We've decided to offiically change the spelling to "Boz" because we are having a hard time getting it across to people that 's a long "a" not a short "a" so we are going through an official name spelling change! Anyways, I didn't want anyone to think I was misspelling or anything! It's just a mess! I wouldn't have thought there would be many problems... but Oh well!  

Has anyone else had any pronouncing problems??

It's Ok! Almost everyone has, you are for sure not the first one! I just wanted to clear it up because all my friends call him Baz like Taz and once they get it in there head that's the end of it! It's pretty funny!

lol. not really name mis pronouncing, but actual changing his name all the time.  When people first meet Major, they always think his name is Sarge. haha

Yes, when people see Kiah they think it is pronounced Kia like the automobile but it is K  - long i - ah.  Even my sister (at first) called her Kia.

OH NO! I would be terrified if people started calling him BOOZE! That would be so awful... ugh tacky! Someone I know has a dog named Weiser, I always thought it was cute and then I realized one day that it had to do with alochol and now I don't like it! I figured it was spelled like Wiser... now I'm not a fan!
I CAN'T BELIVE PEOPLE THOUGHT ODIN WAS A PUG! Boz always gets confused with a Pitbull, it makes us so freaking mad, he's totally all boxer.

I also thought Kiah was Kia...sorry to you too!  I've never had either of my two mistaken for pits...most people, from the kids in the neighborhood to the old guy at the pet store all recognize them both as boxers.
