Whenever something catches Murphy's eye or he thinks he's in trouble, his ears go into some kind of Boxer/bunny hybrid mode.  I've been searching for ways to correct this, if possible.   His ears flip back a lot too, which doesn't bother me as much (although it may open him up to ear infections since junk can potentially get in there).

I found this post with HannaBanana's video that shows a massage technique for natural ears.  She mentions 'wonky ears'.   Below is a picture that shows the thing that Murphy does with his ears that I'd like to correct.  Is this what is meant by 'wonky ears'?   Assuming it is, I'll use the massage technique to see if it corrects it.  If not, I'll just chalk it up to more of Murphy's goofiness and enjoy it

Yeah they also call it a flying nun????? lol You can also try taping them! just crease the ear and put a lil tape on it. sometiems the massaging works and sometimes it doesnt all depends on your pooch lol

It really depends on the thickness of the ear leather.  Some puppies have really thick ear leather and nothing is going to make them lay correctly.  Some pups have thinner ear leather and massaging and/or taping will help.

I would think them flipping back every so often would be good... it would let them air out and help stop fungal and different infections. There's always been the pro's and con's to having them cropped and having them floppy. So if you get both... isn't it potentially the best of both worlds?? LOL
