Gretchen was our nine yr. old boxer that died back in April of this year. She had a heart problem and due to her being so old they would not do surgery. So in April she died from a heart attack. She was a fantastic dog! We got her from a rescue organazation just like Lexie.

Gretchen sounds like she was a lovely girl, and greatly missed....I cherish every day I have with Samson, who is 10 1/2..God bless these seniors....

I am very sorry for your loss, but I am sure it is a comfort knowing that Gretchen is in a better place and free from pain and suffering.  She sounds like a wonderful girl.

I am so sorry for your loss.   She sounds like a wonderful girl!  We have adopted from rescue and plan to do that from now on, it is wonderful the love that these babies have even after all they have been through!
