I think Kona has scratched his eye with a twig. I looked in there as best i could and didn't see any debris.
I cannot get a hold of emergency vet.
He is continuously rubbing his eye and wont hold it open.
Can i put people polysporin drops in there?
Can i do anything to help him.

Do you have saline solution? You. Can flush it out thoroughly. The problem with a scratched cornea is it hurts like crazy. You can use antibiotic drops until you get in to your vet tomorrow. They will give you an eye ointment after doing a stain. If you have a cone, I'd place it on him to stop him from doing more damage to the eye by rubbing it.

vet will most likely tell you to apply ophthalmic polysporin (over the counter in drugstores) I had a kamikaze 2 boxers ago (sig pic,big ears),he would go into brushes eyes wide open and no sheet given...even went to have at least 25% of his superficial cornea missing due to rubbing it....polysporin kinda numb it and the missing part shrinks until its brand new, ready for another excursion into the brushes
