Yes Honeyec is right.....ignore her!!!!! If you give in and offer her table food she will continue to beg for it.... Act as if she is not even sitting there by the table.

The old saying is.... give them a bite of meat and they will want a hot dog, give them a hot dog and they will want you to cook them a steak... :D

When she gets hungry enuf, she'll go eat her food. You may want to put her in a time out when you have meals, take her away from the table. I've seen people train their dogs to go lay down in another room or something...Samson was awful about that, but it was my fault, so we had to un do that damage and it takes time, so don't give in!!!

Dont just ignore them.  This is one of those things that, if you ignore it...it can get worse...  Crate her during your meals or teach her to down in a certain spot away from the table.  DO NOT allow begging.  Everyone else is right...your pup will eat when she is hungry enough.

Another thing...FLIP OUT ON WHOEVER FED YOUR DOG THAT CRAP!!!  (my humble opinion)

lol!!!  Add a lil boiled chicken to her feed tonight.  That should "encourage" her to eat her own food.  Dogs can go three days without food, so she'll be fine.

Macy did the same thing. That's why she is banned from eating our scraps, not to mention it's not good for them anyways. But every time we ate we wouldn't allow her to be in the same area. She had to stay in the living room. After about 2 weeks she went back to eating her food regularly and isn't begging anymore.

Sometimes I give Jessie bread.  But I never give it to her if I am eating it.  I always break little pieces off and put it in her bowl!

That's a good idea, I won't give them anything without putting it in their bowl otherwise they will beg for hours.

I give Rocky table food "scraps"..Rocky gets the meat and I'AM THE ONE STUCK WITH THE BONE...but anyways...what I do is when he gets it, its placed in his bowl...so even though he throws his little head on my leg, he knows that its going in his dish..thats what and where he eats besides treats.

Also what you can do is do something different to the dry food. I can speak for Rocky, is he gets bored of the same thing REAL quick...so I swtich it up every couple of days like adding very hot water to the dry food. Let it soak for about 1 minute...drain..and serve...he loves it! Then I go back to the plain dry only. Can dogs have A.D.D. ???? Cause he has it ! (Dont mean to offend anybody that does have A.D.D., I had it as a kid...still have it cause it took me 15 minutes to type this! lol)

Yeap just ignore her and when she is really hungry she will eat her own food. Or you can throw some of that dog gravy stuff into there food every once in a while. ive done that before and it worked out.
