I know this is a little off subject since Sonic wasn't a boxer but a hedgehog that my son's teacher has as a class pet.  This week they found out that Sonic has cancer and is going to be put to sleep today.  My son is really upset about it even though he tries to act brave.  I was explaining to him about the rainbow bridge so I think that made him feel a little better!  It's a little harder for him because my dad died in 04 from skin cancer and my cousin died in Feb 07 of breast cancer.

He came home from school yesterday and said that his teacher was taking Shadow (I accidently called him Sonic in the first post) to be put down but she had given all the kids a picture of him to keep.  It's on our fridge.  It made me so sad.

How horrible for you and your son! It sounds like you both need to catch a break! I hope things look up for you both in the future!
