So we brought Dezi home 3 weeks ago today and we are loving him! I was totally depressed because I couldn't find my camera hookups to show everyone here my pictures of our new boy! Luckily I found them today and I finally feel like I can show my face at Boxer Forum again!
Anyways, the experience with the puppy has been CRAZY! I didn't have any idea what I was in for when I wanted to get a puppy, he is so much work. He wakes me up in the night to go potty and I have to watch his every move. At 11 week he's able to get over any baracade we put up! He's growing like a weed, it's so much fun to watch. I am learning so much with him it's amazing.
Boz and Dezi just get along so well, the first week or so Boz had to learn how to share his toys and to not be posessive over Shane and I. He's learned to tolerate Dezi wanting to play all the time! Now they are totally happy and love to be together. Dezi is learning to follow commands just by watching Boz all the time, like sitting down in order to get his leash off when we come in from being outside or staying back when I'm getting their food ready for them. Dezi likes to play like a big boy, it's so funny! He'll just go after Boz and he sounds like a little Tazmanian Devil! I had no idea how little boxer pups sounded!
I'm not sure if we will get another puppy or just adopt adults from a rescue but we have along time before we get our 3rd dog! By then I might have forgotten how much work a puppy is!
