Herbie is peeing on Maggie!!!  :?  I know I thought the first time it happened that he just had some bad aim and was too close to her.  But he has peed on her everytime we leave them out together.  Do males mark females?  Is he trying to remark her spot and becoming a little over zealous?  The poor girl has had to shower every night with my skin daughter (not that either of them hate the shower)   , but enough is enough.  He just started to lift his leg on a consistant basis.  I called the vet and they referred me to a behavior specialist.........but my question is this.........does Herbie not being neutered have anything to do with this?  And Maggie is the only thing that he seems to mark, if that is what he is doing, why would that be?  If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!!!!

Kash is in tact and does that when Hanna is squating.   I have to make sure he is NO where near Hanna when she is going potty or the poor girl gets somewhat of a golden shower.  No cool.

I think that it is a marking issue.....you may have to take them out to potty seperate.....I had Fiona at work one day and she was sniffing on a male in his kennel run and he pee'd right on her head and face.... :?

Keegan did that once to Kiah when i first got him but has not done it since.  He was fixed at the time but it was less than a week since his surgery when he did it.

Oh gosh...   I hope Bear never does that.  He squats to pee though so maybe he will never learn to hike his leg.  He does sometimes get it on his foot

Poor Maggie!  AND Hanna, Fiona and Kiah   :(      I wouldn't want to get peed on.  Ewe.

Maybe he is trying to make sure everyone knows that she belongs to him?   :-??

Delilah used to almost pee on Felix b/c she would mark where he peed- and started marking before he was even done!

Ok....I will try and take them out seperately for a while....hehehe....Hubby says maybe they have a golden hand shake going on, since they both like to shower with the skin kid.....Herbie pees on Maggie and now Maggie comes up with something for Herbie......lol

Samson has done that a few times, mostly to smaller dogs actually, but when we first brought Angel home, when she was still spotting, I think it was the smell, but he would constantly follow her outside and pee right on top of her...Thankfully it only lasted for a few days, I am sure she was getting tired of being bathed

That's never happened between my dogs, but I think you best bet is to walk them apart.  That's a short term solution, but you might want to contact a trainer who specializes in behavioral issues.

Good luck!
