That the owners of the two boxer babies have to go to court. I am pretty confident the city will be awarded custody but I am still crossing my fingers.

I was thinking about that earlier today, I hope all goes well and you end up with the precious babies.  I am sure in TEXAS that the court system would be in favor for the puppies.  Idiot people who mis treat animals piss me off.

Well, i sure hope they they will be in favor of the babies...and make it to where these people can never own another animal again! I wonder if they have any more?! I hope not....Let us know what happens tomorrow! When will they be coming home to you?

i forget are the owners fighting to get their dogs back?  it sounds like a formality to have the court proceedings to get official ownership of them.

can't wait till you get them and we can see the transformation

OMG YA'LL I am FUMING! Boxer 2 was awarded BACK to the OWNER! Ace, boxer 2 has to stay at the shelter until the appeal process is over. Even the people at the animal shelter that seized the babies are PO'd.

UGH! WTF! How can they be awarded the dogs back? The condition they were in was insane and def. considered animal cruelty. What was actually said at the hearing? So sorry!

What makes the court think that they took care of one better than the other or that the same isn't going to happen again to the dog they are getting back? That is not fair to the dogs at all. I can only imagine how PO'd you and everyone involved are.
Where do you go from here with the other?

Just received a call from the rescue intake coordinator! She is calling/going to see the judge and if that gets her no where she is going to the media..there is still hope that we may get the boxer babies!!!
