So I noticed a few weeks ago that Maple has these black spots on her bottom gums inside of the big canines, I thought that maybe it was left over of baby teeth or something, we were at the vet the other day and she looked at it and said that it's because she has a tooth from the top digging into the bottom gum, because of her underbite, it's on both sides but the left side is a bit more severe than the right.  it does not seem to bother her and it never bleeds, I asked the doc what would be a way to deal with it she said to pull the teeth from the top that are doing this  :?   she is only 5 months old and I really don't want to pull any teeth yet, she said there is a chance that she'll grow out of it but she didn't seem convinced.  Did anyone else's dogs have this issue? if so please tell me they grew out of it, I really don't want my baby to have any teeth pulled  :(
p.s. the monster is now 35lbs.  8O  lol

Maple haven't had this problem with my boxers, however I did have this with my doxie.  I chose to not pull the teeth and see what happened....and honestly it worked out.  If I had seen her in pain or favoring her mouth I guess that would have been a different story but I didn't so I just was patient.  I think that you need to make the decision based on her and how she is and whether or not she is comfortable.  Sorry I hope this helps.

I would wait until she is full grown to see if she grows out of it unless as Cheryl said she seems uncomfortable or in pain.

she doesn't seem to be in pain, and I'll definitely wait till she grows up, just was hoping that someone has been there and the situation resolved itself  :?   I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
