Ughh, so I have been so sick the last few days. So has DH, the baby, and today my older son stayed home from school ill also. The baby is feeling better, which is a double edged sword, because now he is back into EVERTHING, and I don't have the energy to keep up. He is 18 months and already has a nickname of "the destroyer". Between him and the dogs, I often feel like a cyclone runs through my house on a hourly basis. So, this morning (OK, early afternoon, I'm sick remember) I finally get dogs ready to eat. I put Edddie in his crate to wait for Lenny to be done because I could not supervise. I went to other room to take older DS temp when I heard both dogs in the kitchen, out and eating. I was gone out of that room maybe 2 minutes, and this is what I came back to...

A little devil smile...the little devil child had let Eddie out, gotten into the cabinets (boxers like soy sauce and 100 calorie packs right?), pulled stuff off the table, and had turned over both bowls and spread the food around the floor. 2 minutes...tops. As you can see the dogs didn't care, food is food. The kicker is, I had put a little water and pumpkin in the food today, so I ended up having to mop too. So, I took the picture hoping that it will be funny down the road after I'm felling better. BTW, DH thought it was sooo funny. Funny he didn't have to clean up.

Oh my goodness. The smile on your son's face says it all.....Yea, definitely not funny when you aren't feeling good, but something to laugh about later

That smile is great...  I wish I had your instincts to grab a camera, Cassius covered in feathers in his crate from a down blanket he managed to pull through one of those tiny slots, I might laugh about it later but not trying to track down tons of feathers with a shop vac...  I feel your pain. Hope you feel better.

The camera happened to be out, I'm not that good off the cuff. Yeah, but baby was proud of his work. He often leaves a literal path of destruction. I can usually maintain when I feeling well, but my house is a wreck right now and I'm too tired to care. Thanks for the well wishes, I'm sure I'll feel better soon. DH and the rest of the fam all felt  better in a couple of days. I been sick since Sunday, so it has to break soon...right!? There is something just not right about a nasty cold when it is hot outside.

Thanks all for the get better wishes. I thought I was feeling better today so I took the dogs our for a walk. We didn't get very far when I decided I'm over it lets go home. So we get home and the dogs pass out in the tile floor and the baby is walking around making his usual mess. I start cleaning up and I realize I don't hear the baby. So I'm looking around and realize Eddie is gone too! I checked the front and back door and they're closed, Then I hear noises from the bathroom. I turned the knob and it was locked. 8O

OMG, that's hilarious! What a little rascal you have!

We have wondered at times why he didn't name our son Dennis. LOL. He never means to be bad, he's just having fun and manages to cause trouble & make messes!
