Well as you all know I have had bad luck lately trying to adopt another boxer, great dane, or doberman to add to my fur-family.  Each time we get to the point where it looks like we are going to be able to adopt but then we get "you dont have a fence, which is a red flag and denies you from adopting."

But I am a member of Dogster.com and found a lady that is having issues and can not continue to take care of a 1yr old male fawn boxer.  She just emailed me back stating that he is located in CIN, OH and is good with other dogs and very playfull.  He came from a breeder in Ohio, but she is not asking for an adoption fee, she just wants him to find and have a family that has time and love to give him.

His name is Duke aka Sir Wiggles

Re: Trying to adopt a male 1yr old fawn boxer located in CIN

My wife says I am obsessed with my dogs.  I keep telling her that there are dogs, cats, and other animals that are without caring families; and I believe that with the love me and my wife have and share with our two boxers, we still have plenty to go around and time to spend with another if able to.

I love his almost all white/pink mask, that has a little black on his nose.  I love the look of a fawn, and he is more on the heavier side like Daphne, not saying he is heavy but more muscular and filled out for his age.  Attila is oppisite because he is on the smaller side.  I am praying.....

I am waiting for the wife to get home from work and oil change in the car.... and to see if we can leave when she gets home and probably get there by 8:30-9:00 and then make it home by about 2:00am.

Re: Trying to adopt a male 1yr old fawn boxer located in CIN

Well my wife reconsidered adopting a third dog, she stated that she wanted our two dogs to get a little more mature and advance more in their dog training.  I feel bad that we got so close to adopting him and then unable to continue the adoption.

Well that stinks but I can see her point.  Adding a third can be a handful, and best to get your two to where you want to be in their training before having to spread attention to a third.  Esp a rescue where it may require more work and training.

So, I am sure when the time is right, it will happen.  I know you will provide a great home to a boxer in need, so try not to get too bummed out about it

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that..It very well could be that this just wasn't the time, as much as we would like it to be...Keep at it tho, that Boxer is out there...How's Attila's leg doing by the way?
