Hello all!

Its been awhile, I have to admit... I turned back into a lurker for awhile there lol

So I have a free 5 minutes to post, and have a question. Btw tucker is doing great, but we had a relapse today... He went to the bathroom all over his crate, both pee and poo... I am not worried about the little pillow and toys, but I am wondering if I can wash his crate bed in my half size washer? I have another I can throw in there, so Im wondering if it is even worth the trouble of washing the first. Not only did he poo in there, but he made it a point to just rub it in all over the crate bed. It was just nasty, and so was he! My goodness he's never done this before. He pee'd once in his crate his 3rd night home, but nothing since. He gobbled down his breakfast today, and it was nice in solid in his crate. He is feeling fine, I dont know what brought this on.

I really dont have time to mess with the new crate bed to get it in there right now, is that going to be a problem until I get home at 6pm? I have a divider in there, so I have to slide and shimmy the crate bed under the divider for it to fit in there properly.

BTW just for an update tucker is now just about 30 pounds, 20 inches tall, and has a great personality! He has completely outgrown that little blanket he had (you know the one that was a good 2 or 3 sizes too big...) He is wonderful, and listens very well for the most part. We invested in the gentle leader, and I love it. It took some getting used to on his part, but now he just walks like a champ. That martingale collar would slide down to the base of his neck then he would, using his shoulders, pull me around everywhere. I can now, with the head collar, walk with a nice loop in my lead-- he stays right by my side. I understand its not for everyone, but he loves it!

Well I have to get going, please let me know what you all think about the crate bed... toss it or try and salvage it...?

have a great one today :)

Duke tore apart everything we put in his crate until about a month ago so he went without a bed and blankets until about a month ago.  And Tabs tore apart her bed also so she is going without until I can buy another one.  As long as its not cold in the room he is in I think he would be fine w/out anything in there.

Happy to hear Tucker is doing well, update pictures if you can.  If it won't fit in your washer, I would go to a laundry mat and wash them both there.  It shouldn't happen that often and it is better than replacing it.
