So I was looking at boxer stuff on CafePress... which by the way... the boxerforums store at cafepress is adding more items everyday!

SO ANYWAY... I saw a T-Shirt that said "Proud Parent of A Boxerdoodle"... I'm like uhhhh what the heck is that!?? Some cute name for a boxer?

NOOOOO... A Boxerdoodle is a Boxer Poodle Hybrid...  8O LOL This is the strangest thing I think I've ever heard!!!

It states it's not a purebred but it is a member of the ACHC... American Canine Hybrid Club  8O  8O

Anyone else heard of this? I think it's crazy!

Okay, someone help me out here.  I'm not a Star Trek fan, but my husband is and so some of the characters have found their way into my nightmares.  This dog reminds me sooooooooo much of one of them, but I'm not sure of the name of the character.  I wanna say 'Warp" or "Worf??"  I swear to god, the dog in that pic is that character incarnate!

oh no not crossing our wonderful boxers with poodles.  YUCK!  We have lots of the "doodle" crosses in our obedience classes and I can tell you that poodle doesn't cross well with other breeds mentally.

I've seen alot of ads for labradoodles (lab/poodle) around here but this is the first I heard of a boxerdoodle.

Yeah,  I've seen all kinds of other dogs mixed with a poodle but not a boxer.  I agree, who would want a boxer mixed with a poodle instead of a pure bred boxer?   :roll:   Kinda crazy if you ask me.

Ok I love dogs...but my boyfriends parents have a Goldendoodle....a mix between a golden retreiver and a poodle.  I really can't stand this dog.  But this is the first time I have heard of a boxerdoodle.

Sadly this is becoming the latest craze and there is no telling how far it will go...Yea I've heard of the Boxerdoodle before, never actually saw one, but I have a lot of problems with this mixing of breeds like that...Lord only knows down the line what kind of health issues you are creating with some of these new crosses...
