I have been searching online for how to use garlic, but they all say different things.
I bought a whole clove... but do you use that or minced or garlic powder?  I can chop it up pretty fine in my magic bullet if need be.
How much/often do you give garlic?

although im not Heather haha..i use garlic ..i keep minced dried pure garlic on hand as a just in case but use fresh cloves...that and parsley...

im no help as far as the exact daily amount b/c i use a crockpot twice a week and cook fresh garlic,parsley,carrots,and either chicken,turkey or duck..mix cottage cheese and yogurt later on

I remember reading that it's a clover for a large dog or half a clove for medium dog (if minced then teaspoon or half) Maple is almost 30lbs. and I give her half a teaspoon daily.

Whats the reason behind using garlic?

I just started giving Harleigh some yogurt everynight to help with her gas and it seems to be making it worse.

Garlic is a natural flea remedy...I used to give Samson 1/4 tsp daily of minced garlic. You can also add some apple cider vinegar to water to help as well...I added about a tablespoon to a huge bowl of water

The benefits of garlic are well documented.  The toxicity argument is likely because garlic is similiar to onions, but really it's overblown unless in cases of serious overdoses.  I would question whether those nasty flea prevention chemicals you are supposed to smear on the skin are any safer.....

jeez i AM blonde lol i also use the vineger in the water...really helps with the garlic and the vineger...hawaii is always hot so fleas are always here ...grrrrrrrrrrrrr
