I'm just curious how leniant/strict some owners are... I feel like I'm pretty leniant but when I don't tolerate something, I mean it... Mine include:

1. Begging at the table
2. "Back Talking" ... If I give mine a command they don't bark back at me
3. Not following through with commands
4. Aggression .. some leeway with this when it comes to other dogs.. bully breeds are known to be dog aggressive and I keep it under control BUT if I want to add another dog to the pack, I will do so and I won't allow my current dogs to make that decision for me..
5. Aggression over toys, food, treats, etc .. EVERYONE SHARES.. especially MY bed..
6. Charging the door ... biggest peeve! I've been knocked over by a 40lb dog rushing the door.. My 90lb beast WILL NOT do it.. =o)

I think thats it.. can't really think of anything else... These don't apply to my boyfriends dogs..    His dogs rule the house (literally) but my dogs still follow my rules no matter where we are and if another dog is "breaking the rules". I respect the pack mentality.. but I'm alpha over our *little pack* so what I says, still goes...

Anyone else?

I HATE when she begs ANYWHERE, rushes the door, TOTALLY ignores my come command when I know shes very good at it, and aggression towards anything lol
Shes only ever aggressive towards dogs when on lead and she very weary of strange adults expecially men when on lead too! Ive only ever heard her actually growl at a man in the petstore when I was pregnant!! He bumped into me and I kinda topples over with my big gut and boy she let him have it! Children shes very good with.

I don't like begging, jumping, aggression, pulling on the leash, or not listening to my commands.

If Roxy wants something or wants to do something and I tell her "no", she will sometimes "talk back" to me but she always listens to what I tell her.  She is only aggressive when it comes to sharing toys and I hate that!!!  Other than that she doesn't do anything else bad.  Astro on the other hand is a whole different story.

I don't allow aggression, pulling on lead, or "back talk".  I do allow her to make some decisions (work based only).  Elsewise, I'm pretty lenient.

I do not put up with any biting (mouthing).  A dog can pay for his life for this when he gets older.

Rushing the door either to go out or cos someone is here, that would be my biggest issue...Table begging isn't cute, but as we had been letting Samson get away with it, now we are paying the price....Excessive barking I put a stop to right away. Turning that deaf ear to me and not listening to my commands....Angel is very good at the back talk thing, so we both have to stay on her about that..In play, yes, I allow it, but not any other time...

Henry has just started to bark at the neighbors.  Now these are people he's seen his whole life here and he has just started to bark at them.  So I'm trying to stop that.
When he's playing with hubby and son, he likes to chew pants legs.  I absolutely do not allow that with me!
That's all! :D

All the money and time I've spent on training, and I'm the biggest pushover!    The only thing she knows I am serious about is the biting and leaving the yard. Otherwise it's pretty much her world, I'm just living in it!  :p

Begging at the table, working on rushing the door and aggression.  Teaki gets that way over her toys and Ziggi is that way over food but getting much better.   They aren't allowed on the furniture but do have their own beds and blankets.  Our Calli would get up on the couch the second we left and slither off as soon as she heard the car or door open.....we always checked the couch and it was still warm and furry....her standing there looking completely innocent!  :D

Begging is the big one then jumping, talking back, getting on furniture other than my(our) bed, and so far no aggression but it will not be tolerated.

Jumping; barking at passerbyers; tiffs; playing in our bedroom (try to make them associate it with sleeping only as Brady has a rough time sleeping through the night and wants to play); pulling on the leash; being snappy with taking treats from our hands.

No problems with them rushing the door or begging at the table (never fed them from it, so they don't even know the advantages of trying to beg!)

I dont tolerate jumping, humping ..... and licking my face, unless i ask for a kiss...

The problem is that no one else helps me... they let her do whatever she wants... she wont do it to me but she will do those things to a lot of other people!!!   By other people i mean SHAUN!!! lol

Our big ones are (a work in progress since he's only 5+ months): jumping up on people, excessive barking (mainly while chasing the cats), rushing the door, pulling on the lead (B doesn't do this unless there are other dogs around), "selective" hearing with commands, excessive licking ( I don't mind, but others sure do!) and begging.  I don't know why he begs, he's never been fed human food?
So he gets told to "go lay down" or if he can't listen then he gets popped in his kennel while we eat.

He's pretty good with everything but if he decides he's going to 'test' my pack leader status, I gently remind who's boss and his attitude shapes right up!   :D
