I am looking for a dog bed for outside use only on our patio...something for Maverick to relax on while i am getting some sun..I found this one which is kind of what i am looking for. I am not sure if they will ship to Canada and this is the only one I have found so far that is kind of outdoorsy..I dont want anything fleecy or cushiony because it will make him hot and if it gets wet outside it will be gross.

^^^that is what i am considering. If you guys know of ones like that or something else that would work let me know! What do you guys this of this? good idea? Bad idea? do your dogs use something like this?

p.s. we dont have cushiony grass we have a stone patio only.

I think Mav will love his bed/doggy hammock, let me know if you do get it and what its like.
If its good i might look at getting an XL for my doggies to catch some sun with in the garden aswell

Least if it does get wet, its off the floor and will dry out in no time at all

Wow!  That looks really nice!
We just have a couple of doggie blankets for Henry for outside.  I bring them in at night or when it rains.  I can toss them in the wash when they get stinky.  But that looks wonderful!  Hmmm, maybe I oughta get one! :wink:  
Don't know if they would ship to Canada or not though.  Maybe have to shop around more?

I think a lot of the boarding places have hammock type things as well - maybe go in and ask where they got theirs. The SPCA here uses them, too. Might be worth a shot if you can't get them to ship to Canada.

I know someone who has something similiar and I was considering something like that for Samson as well. They hold up pretty well and I like the way the air can circulate..this is the one I was looking at

We have a older bean bag we put out on the deck that my boy loves to lay on not sure what the outer cover is made of but it drys very fast and he really likes that.

My sister has one kinda similar to that (hers has more cushion & has a wood base) for their stone patio and it's awesome!  Her dog uses it all the time.  I think it's a great idea.

Thanks for the links! i like this style because i can leave it outside and just wipe it down with a damp washcloth if it get's dusty etc. if he needs it to be comfier I will put some blankets on it for him. I think im going to go to petsmart here first and check if they sell it at the store or if they can order one for me etc.
