I think it really depends on what part of the country or world you are in. My thoughts of what are reasonable prices for a boxer pup are.... $0 for a pet store or commercial breeder pup, ;) and anywhere from $800-$1500 for a companion pup from a reputable breeder. For show, I'm not really too sure but I would think it would be upwards of $1200.

Around here a puppy from health tested parents can go for $800 to $1200 and a show puppy from health tested parents $1200 to $1500.

yea that is what i expected. was justing comparing to see what others had paid. good topic. usually you can find pups for 600ish but they are usually not health tested and i think anything over 1500 is just too much.

This can also vary depending on where you are..My breeder sells her pet puppies from $700-1000, whites always should be less...Her show prospects she sells for $1500 and up...But at a young age, it is very hard for a breeder to tell what will be a good show prospect, it's a gamble, that can sometimes backfire..Some pups don't show their potential at a young age, the breeder may sell to a pet home and then the pup blossoms, this is what happened with Flick :)

my two were under 1000.00 from health tested parents, have had no health issues with either othem besides some flare up allergies. They are also on a spay .neuter contract so they have to be fixed :D

Plus if you develp a good relationship with a specific breeder, they are less conerned about the $$$ and more about the quality of the home:)

Willow, may be off topic, but since he is show quality, do you plan on entering him?
Theresa, the jury is still out on this..My first step is to have him evaluated..I go back and forth on this as it is a lot of money, I wouldn't be showing him myself..Plus there is the "Angel" factor, she would miss her baby :( I know what Rhonda(Flick's breeder) wants, but at the end of the day, it's my decision, my money :)

Lol Ky, yea my girlie is perfect as well, pigeon toed and all :)
