So I leave at 5:15 am every morning to go workout at the gym...well, not until this afternoon did the hubby tell me that when I leave she sits at the door and whines and barks.  AWWWW  I usually take her everywhere with me.  He leaves about 15 minutes after me and puts her in her crate, and he says that it isnt fair cause she seems to hate him lol...cause I get home before him, and I let her out when I return from the gym.  Sooooo tomorrow I am going to put her in the crate instead of him and he is going to leave at the same time.  It saddens me to know that she whines and cries and barks when I leave :(

The only advice I can give is try to put her in the crate before you actually leave so she can calm down a bit. Ask her to lay down once calm walk around and leave without looking back.. Don't make a big deal at all..just slip out the door. To train them works well when your home to leave them in a room and walk in and out like nothing soon they lay down and just wait for your return or keep playing. Makes it much easier to leave...

does she get exercise before you leave?....usually a nice long walk before crate time works great, then they are happy to go in the crate and have a snooze :)
Very good point! Since your a runner I took it for granted that you are excercising her in the morning...anyway that is a must before you leave....

I take her for a walk when I get back from working out...we go about 3 or 4 miles  for the walk...like right now she is in her crate playing with her squeeeky toy...its like she likes her crate, but when I leave she gets upset.  I just dont like to go for walks before the sun comes up...I live in a military town that is not all that safe.  I have a  treadmill and have tried that a few times with her...yeah she just stands on it and lets it take her off lol....I cant wait until she is old enough to take for runs so I can wear her little butt out!!!!

I can understand you not wanting to walk with her before the sun comes up if your town is not very safe, but I really think that exercise would help allot with her situation....If she is getting on the treadmill no problem I think you just have to work with her a bit more until she walks on it...you can start by putting a leash on her and holding her on the treadmill making her walk to get used to it like that for a bit, and then graduate to no leash...this is what I did with Gaby, and she's awesome on the treadmill....I put her on it for 30 min no leash...10min of slow walking 10min fast walking and 10 min trotting.....but you can probably have Lette trot for 20min and walk for 10 min as she is a bit older than Gaby...hope this helps :)

Wellll I got up super duper early so that Lette could have a few minutes of treadmill time before I jetted for the gym, and she did remarkably well with all the instructions I received last night lol...so we hope this will continue!!!  thanks for all your help
