So we have started dungy on raw.  No runs no issues w/ him eating it.  He has been on it for 4 days now.  Well this morning i went to fix his ear when he was basically done, he just wanted to lick the bowl and he snarled at me!!!!!!  He has never done that b4 when he was eating and i have pet him before when he was eating.  That really worries me that the raw is making him act that way.  OR could it be that maybe he thought i was another dog... we have 3 others in the house right now.  Either way i dont like that and idk what i should do.

It does sound like he is guarding his food.  Now, whether he thought it was you or another dog who knows?
Delilah will sometimes growl at Felix over food- but never at me.
Do you make Dungy sit or lay down or wait before feeding him? If not I would start that, make him do a series of sit, down, sit, down and wait until you say okay for him to start eating.  Also, hold his food while he is eating at first, hold on to one end of whatever he is eating and let him chew on the other end.
It IS a myth that raw food makes them blood thirsty or more aggressive- but it could be that he is just not used to having such GOOD food and he doesn't want it to go away.
If he snarls at you again I would stand up and step between him and the food, push it away with your foot (just to get it away from his face) and pick it up.  Make him sit/down then give it back.

Good luck!

i will try that stuff tonight when he gets his dinner.  It has got to be because the food is so good and he doesnt want to lose it because he never did that w/ his kibble, he would have been more than happy for me to take away the kibble.  Once he growled, i made a loud noise and picked up the bowl.  I will do the sit and down and try to take it again and feed him by hand and see what he does

If you hold the bowl a little off the ground, and let him eat out of it, raise it up to take it away, so he has to move his head out of the way as you are raising it. If you pull it away, he may just think he needs to follow it. Plus you will most likely force him into a sit position, kinda like how some teach their dog how to sit.
