So was wondering if it is normal that my boxer has never barked in his six years of living. The only thing closest is when he is asleep and lets out some very weak ones. Other than that he has never made a sound.

Hummm, have you asked your Vet?

Yeah the time to find out if "something was wrong, was about 6 years ago? It still could not hurt to get a "Vet Check," anyway and if nothing is wrong? Leave him be.

Basinijs can't /don't "Bark," as such by nature so it's not heard of but yes kind of odd, granted.
