Demodex?  The only smell Cooper had was from secondary infection.  We had to put him on a couple courses of antibiotics to take that out since he had at least 3 strains of infection.  Also, when it was at its worst, we had to bath him every day with Sulf Oxy Dex.  After about a week of that, we were able to taper off to every other day.  After about 3 weeks, he wasn't so stinky and only bathed him about once every other week just to keep his pores open and clear.  What are you treating Ace with?

try opening boxes of baking soda and placing them throughout the house or in the areas that the odor is very strong.. also citrus scented things are the best to get rid of odors.. good luck!!!

Baking soda is a good idea, if it isn't enough you can try some charcoal pieces in a pan out of sight and reach of skin and fur kids :D I used to work on a rehab floor where sometimes despite our best efforts the smells could be unpleasant and the charcoal really helped

What type of mange does your dog have?  I just remembered this is the rescue dog right??  It looks like demo mange from the pics...so the smell is probably coming from a kin infection....that is why there is so much hair loss and his skin has that blue tinting to it....so...first he probably needs some antibiotics to help heal the skin....After that....mix up baking soda and water together and pour it on him....let it sit for about 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse him off.....this will help with the smell.....

In the house.....U have got some good ideas to try....my fav is natures miracle....in a spray bottle and mist everything down....carpet, furniture, drapes etc.....
