whoever said that Shelties were hyper dogs has obviously never been around a Boxer.  Bee Bee makes them seem like one of the most calmest dogs in the world.

My puppy is super hyper.  He just loves to play, I am usually the one running to my water and needing a break!

Oh she just runs and runs and runs outside and if one of my shelties gets in her path she just jumps right over them and keeps running.

Thats the truth lol.  Even when they are supposed to be tired from shots or surgeries they keep going.  I don't think anything can stop them.
