Default Tail wagging direction

I recently read this article by someone I greatly respect, Dr. Karen Becker:

https://healthypets.mercola.com/site...mmunicate.aspx

Afterwards I started watching my Boxers, hard to tell with my male since his tail is docked, but my female has a natural tail and I had already observed it wagging in accordance with the information in that article but today confirmed it. They eat a raw diet, today it was turkey legs, male ate his right away, female buried hers in dirt and leaves and guarded it for awhile before eating as usual. Whenever I went outside and talked to her, her tail wagged vigorously to the right, and whenever the male so much as looked toward her the tail went wagging to the left and she started growling (she's dominant to my male also).

Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Never thought of it until you just posted this. Its tough to tell because he is docked and his whole ass wiggles, but when someone comes up to him that he really likes he always does the kidney bean curve to the right. Interesting

Cool! I was just thinking after I wrote my post about possibly being able to tell by the kidney bean direction.

Sorry to respond to an older post but my wife and I had always thought the boxer's signature "happy to see you" dance resulting in the hilariously exaggerated kidney bean shape.. Also , we noticed that both of our docked boxers do it to the right. Hmm, at any rate it's fun to watch. They both grunt and snort during the kidney bean dance too.
