Hi guys! I'm gonna show off my Dalmatian here. I dont want to stop posting in this forum just because I don't have a boxer at the moment.
This is Murphy he's 8 weeks old!

He is adorable! What a precious little face!

Your partner doesn't want another Boxer, why again? If it's due to health problems, Dalmatians aren't much better in that respect. Besides being prone to serious temperament issues from poor breeding, they apparently have an unusual urinary system that cannot metabolize uric acid and is therefore genetically prone to forming urinary and kidney stones. So be sure to monitor his diet and urination habits. They are also prone to skin and food allergies, and hip dysplasia.

I'm not saying these things to point out flaws or scare you. All breeds have their own issues. You just have to be aware of them and do the best you can to keep your pup healthy.

I know about those issues for dalmations already I've done my research. NOTHING can be worse than what Asha had. His temperament will be fine because he was bred with good bloodlines and we will be taking him to puppy school. Boxers are one of the top breeds for issues because of their own form of colitis (Boxer Colitis) and own form of cardiomyoathy (Boxer Cardiomyopathy) and Asha unfortunately had both which has made us and especially my partner very concerned about getting another boxer.

Don't get me wrong I love boxers!! But the next one we get we need it to be bred well with good bloodlines and we would meet the parents too!
